Portions adapted from WordCraft MailCraft follows the architecture and conventions of WordCraft (https://github.com/storytold/wordcraft), and these parts started from WordCraft's source, which is Copyright (c) 2026 ArtCraft Team and the WordCraft contributors and licensed under the MIT License or the Apache License, Version 2.0: - workspace tooling: xtask (layers, assets, wasm, ci, stats, version, ico), rustfmt and clippy settings, the lint set; - packaging scripts and metadata for macOS, Windows, Linux and the web (packaging/), and the release workflows (.github/workflows/), which call the shared craft-common-actions; - the control channel (apps/mailcraft/src/control_server.rs, crates/control-key) and the MCP server's JSON-RPC framing and bridge (crates/mcp/src/server.rs, backend.rs); - desktop plumbing: logging, Windows graphics-backend choice, native file dialogs, macOS Apple events (apps/mailcraft/src/), window geometry (crates/ui-egui/src/window_geometry.rs); - the front end's design-token scheme, type rungs and ribbon widget shapes (crates/ui-egui/src/ theme.rs, widgets.rs), and the headless screenshot example. Third-party material This product bundles third-party material under its own licenses, listed below. The per-file list (author, source, license) is in ATTRIBUTION.md. - Inter (assets/fonts/Inter-*.ttf) — SIL Open Font License 1.1. See assets/fonts/OFL-Inter.txt. - Source Sans 3 (assets/fonts/SourceSans3-Regular.ttf) — SIL Open Font License 1.1. See assets/fonts/OFL-SourceSans3.txt. - JetBrains Mono (assets/fonts/JetBrainsMono-Regular.ttf) — SIL Open Font License 1.1. See assets/fonts/OFL-JetBrainsMono.txt. - All UI icons are drawn in code (crates/ui-egui/src/icons.rs) and the app icon is drawn in code (xtask/src/icon.rs); both are original work, MIT OR Apache-2.0. - The sample mailbox (crates/engine/src/sample.rs) is invented text about invented people, MIT OR Apache-2.0. Rust dependencies (egui, eframe, wgpu, rustls, serde, image, …) are permissively licensed (MIT/Apache-2.0/BSD/ISC/Zlib) and fetched through crates.io. Among them, for pictures in mail: image-webp (the WebP decoder of the image crate; MIT OR Apache-2.0) and flate2 with miniz_oxide (gzip and deflate, for a picture a web server sends packed; MIT OR Apache-2.0, and MIT OR Zlib OR Apache-2.0). Both are written in Rust throughout; no picture is decoded by anything else. For time zones: jiff, jiff-core and jiff-tzdb (the Unlicense OR MIT), which carry the IANA Time Zone Database (in the public domain) into every build, the browser's included. The names Windows has for time zones beside their IANA names (crates/time/src/zone/windows.rs) restate the "001" rows of windowsZones in the Unicode CLDR supplemental data: Copyright (c) Unicode, Inc., under the Unicode License v3 (https://www.unicode.org/license.txt). They are identifiers; nothing else of Windows is included. For the one document a server hands over as XML (the Favorites of Outlook, read through Microsoft Graph): quick-xml (the MIT License; https://github.com/tafia/quick-xml), with memchr under it (the Unlicense OR MIT). Written in Rust throughout; it reads no DTD and expands no entity. In the desktop app and the CLI only: the browser build has no server connection and does not include it. No Microsoft, Google, Apple, Mozilla or other vendor's icons, images, templates, sounds or artwork are included.
