Experience grounded in operating real systems
I have worked with business technology for more than 25 years, across IT support, hosting, Microsoft 365, workflow engineering and automation. My current focus is connecting those disciplines so an SME gets a working operational system rather than a disconnected AI demonstration.
The work includes WhatsApp enquiry and RSVP automation, n8n workflow engineering, document intelligence, booking and lead-routing systems, and the infrastructure that keeps them reliable.
Why I work directly with SMEs
Small organisations often have valuable process knowledge but limited time to translate it into software. I map the real bottleneck, identify the data and safeguards the workflow needs, build the smallest useful version, and stay close enough to improve it when edge cases appear.
How I approach automation
- Outcome before tools: start with lost time, slow responses or unreliable hand-offs.
- Human fallback: automate predictable work and escalate uncertainty.
- Evidence: measure what changed and state the limits of the result.
- Ownership: favour understandable systems and sensible operating costs.
- Privacy: minimise data movement and make handling choices explicit.
Local, bilingual and accountable
I’m based in West London and work in English and French. Clients speak directly with the person designing and supporting the system. There is no sales-to-delivery hand-off.
Current proof
The published WhatsApp automation article and RSVP case study document a live system used for a community organisation with roughly 3,000 contacts. They cover architecture, costs, message volume, edge cases and the improvement loop rather than presenting automation as effortless.
